Featuring keynote addresses by:

  • Alicia Garza, co-creator of #BlackLivesMatter, a national organizing project focused on combating anti-Black state-sanctioned violence. She is also Special Projects Director for the National Domestic Workers Alliance, the nation’s leading voice for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States, most of whom are women.
  • Lizz Winstead, co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show, and founder of Lady Parts Justice, a national movement using humor and outrage to remove bodily autonomy-hating LOCAL politicians in 2015 and beyond.

Plus a keynote conversation on:

  • The Making of “Unvarnished” with Sarah Maslin Nir, of The New York Times, whose viral investigative series on the exploitation of nail salon workers sparked immediate steps by city and state officials in New York. Moderated by Victoria Law.
