Geoff Dyer’s books include Out of Sheer Rage (finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award), But Beautiful, Yoga For People Who Can't Be Bothered To Do It, The Ongoing Moment (winner of the ICP Infinity Award for writing on photography), The Missing of the Somme, the novels Paris Trance and Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi, and a collection of essays Otherwise Known as the Human Condition.
His many awards include a Somerset Maugham Prize, the E. M. Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and a Lannan Literary Fellowship. His latest book is Zona, about Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Stalker. His books have been translated into more than twenty languages.
