The Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management makes available to nonprofit organization practitioners the best thinking about public sector leadership, management and policy. Since 2002, the Center has been offering seminar series, conferences, and consulting days, enabling nonprofit practitioners to get the advice in the form they want from noted experts in the field. SOCIAL IMPACT INVESTING: NEW STRATEGIES FOR FINANCING NONPROFIT VENTURES

A variety of new financing mechanisms under the heading of social impact investing or social venture philanthropy have emerged over recent years. Such innovations can become a source of long-term and less-restricted sources of capital for nonprofit organizations.

This seminar will provide participants with information about: 

  • Early stage investing for new organizations
  • Investing for growth of organizations and programs
  • Generating new revenue streams in support of the work of the organization
